🧬 Five Days of Hands-on Learning, Discovery and Scientific Exchange!
We, along with National Centre for Biological Sciences, Bengaluru recently concluded an intensive five-day hands-on workshop on CRISPR based genome editing, bringing together enthusiastic participants for an immersive learning experience across Plant Systems, Cell Systems and Insect Systems.
Over five days, participants engaged in a blend of theory, practical sessions and expert-led lectures, gaining exposure to different approaches, techniques and perspectives across the three systems. The workshop provided an opportunity to learn new concepts, methods in CRISPR technology and ask questions, exchange ideas, connect with fellow researchers.
We are grateful to our speakers, Dr. C Vishwanathan (ICAR – IARI), Dr. Vijay Chandru (CRISPR Bits), Dr. Deepti Trivedi (NCBS), Dr. Kutubuddin Ali Molla (ICAR – CRRI) and Dr. Mohan Kumar (CSCR, CMC Vellore) for sharing their knowledge and insights. Their lectures complemented the hands-on sessions and offered participants valuable perspectives from their areas of expertise.
A special thank you to all our participants for their active involvement throughout the workshop which contributed significantly to the success of the program.
