Sustainable Transformation in Agriculture and Nutrition Summit (SUSTAiN) 2026 is a new initiative launched by the Tata Institute for Genetics and Society (TIGS) in collaboration with the National Centre for Biological Sciences (NCBS). It serves as a national platform to bring together researchers, policymakers, startups, and industry leaders to accelerate crop improvement. The program fosters dialogue and partnerships around climate-resilient agriculture, advanced pest management, and improved nutrition.
The University of Agricultural Sciences (UAS, GKVK) Bengaluru, ICAR–National Bureau of Agricultural Insect Resources (ICAR-NBAIR) Bengaluru, and ICAR–Indian Institute of Rice Research (ICAR-IIRR) Hyderabad have joined as knowledge partners for the conference.
The event will include keynote talks from thought leaders, expert panel discussions, hands-on workshops, and poster sessions highlighting cutting-edge research and real-world applications. With participation from academia, government, agribusiness, and civil society, the conference offers a unique space for diverse stakeholders to engage, collaborate, and shape the future of sustainable agriculture in India.
