On 3rd March 2023, over 30 organisations in Bengaluru came together focusing on disease surveillance, pandemic preparedness as part of the launch of the OneHealth Bengaluru Consortium by the BeST (Bengaluru Science and Technology) Cluster, an initiative of the Office of the Principal Scientific Adviser to the Government of India.
Dr. Farah Ishtiaq was part of the panel on discussing the current Challenges of OneHealth Bengaluru City and how would it look like in the next 10 yrs and what are the priorities pertaining to OneHealth.
TIGS is glad to be part of the consortium driving environmental surveillance, disease ecology of vector borne diseases. We look forward to collaborate with the consortium on shared goals and shaping evidence based policies for science and society.
